Free Armoire turned into $300. SO Easy & Fun!

In my last post I talked about my love affair with Craigslist, as well as recent projects of buying and flipping furniture with the help of that wonderful site. At the end of that post I mentioned that I had gotten an armoire for free. Above is the ad that I posted on Facebook of the armoire, (I post on a local handmade FB page that tends to be successful,) and here are some of the pictures I posted on Craigslist (which is where my buyer saw it)...

Crazy about Craigslist

Sorry for the long overdue post! I have literally been a little bit crazy with buying and re-selling Craigslist finds these past few weeks and had no time to write a blog post (which is not nearly as fun as CL shopping so thus was procrastinated. Sorry). In less than a month I have made over $1000 taking advantage of Craigslist deals and turning them around for a profit. Read on for how to use this delightful site, as well as what items I have scored on...

Drab to Fab Piano Transformation using Chalk Paint and Gel Stain

My husband inherited his great-grandma's piano years ago and we have loved having the family heirloom. She used to play for the silent movies, so having her piano was even more neat. For years we moved the piano from home to home, dealing with the un-sightly poop color that didn't match anything in our house. It even had white paint on the front of it from who knows when.

Well like I always do after I have a baby, I get on a creative rampage when the baby reaches 3 months old. I looked at the piano and couldn't deal with it dictating the look of our family room any longer.
